Let's face it, life can be hard. Likewise, so can your faith. Becoming victorious does not happen overnight. The very definition of victory indicates that a battle exists and that it must be won. I have always admired athletes. Genetically, God did not bless me with a sculpted and svelte physique like my girl, Serena Williams. In my youth, I spent way too much time and energy on hating my body. I could not see the beauty that God saw. However, now I know that with proper nutritional choices and an active lifestyle I can be the very best physical being possible. This only enhances the beauty that has always existed.
The same conditioning is necessary for mental, emotional, and spiritual health. To be in good shape, you must train your mind, heart, and spirit. My personal faith in God has been the tool that has produced victory when faced with adversity. When I am aligned in my walk with Jesus Christ, I have guaranteed success. No, my life is not perfect. I have made a lifetime of mistakes and errors. However, I have been successful in staying the course and continuing to condition my faith. I am a Faith-elete! (™Pending.) My journey has been full of joy, pain, heartache, surprises, mystery, happiness, and most of all FAITH! This IS the Victorious Life.
So, in your journey to Victorious Living, continue to condition the things that matter most. Do not give up, do not retreat. Resolve in your heart and mind that you were created to win. The victory belongs to you, yes-YOU! I am glad that we will share this journey together. This is just the beginning of a wonderful, exciting, and victorious relationship.
